The Mason City Toros wrapped up a 3-for-3 weekend with a 6-2 win over the New Ulm Steel on Saturday night at the New Ulm Civic Center.
Carter Newpower and Sota Isogai both scored two goals and the Toros second straight three-goal second period led the team to their third straight victory.
Mason City entered the first intermission tied up 1-1 but scored three goals in the second. Isogai, Cullen Hogan and Newpower all cashed in to put the Toros ahead by three goals entering the second intermission.
Isogai added his second in the third and Jack Campion also scored to give the Toros’ top line five goals on the evening.
Mason City picks up six points on the weekend and will be back in action this coming Saturday against the Alexandria Blizzard at 3 p.m. at the Mason City Arena. Tickets are available at masoncitytoros.com.
