Toros Face New Ulm Tuesday In Rescheduled Game

The Mason City Toros host the New Ulm Steel this Tuesday in a makeup game of one originally scheduled for Jan. 14 but that was postponed due to transportation issues.

The puck drops at 7 p.m. at the Mason City Arena. Tickets are $5 for every seat except for top shelf and glass seats, which run at $10.

Tuesday’s meeting will be the second-of-three meetings between the two teams over the next week-and-a-half. Mason City travels to New Ulm this Saturday for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop at the New Ulm Civic Center before again traveling to face the Steel on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 7:10 p.m.

The Toros are 3-0 against New Ulm this season and most recently faced them in the River City on Jan. 15. Six different players scored and Owen Carlson stopped all 26 shots for his second shutout of the season in a 6-0 win.
