Mason City, IA- Mason City Toros forward Teis Larsen has been selected as the NA3HL’s West Division Star of the week for his performance against the Minnesota Wilderness. The Winona, Minnesota native recorded two goals and an assist across the first two Mason City Toro games of the season, earning a shootout point and a regulation win.
“Teis had a great 1st weekend of junior hockey,” said Toros Head Coach Mark Hicks. “He works hard and puts himself in great positions to produce offensively. We look forward to seeing him develop and scoring more big goals for us this season.”
Larsen’s efforts earned the Toros three out of four available points on the season’s opening weekend.
Mason City’s September homestand continues with a two game series on Friday night and Saturday afternoon at the Mason City Arena against the Alexandria Blizzard. All single game tickets are available for only $5 for this weekend’s games!
